Founding TRA Snow Brackets
Hmm, it felt like time to explain a little bit about TRA-MAGE a.k.a. TRA Snow Brackets, you know, basic stuff like who we are and where we come from. So sit back and relax whilst we give you a history lesson… Then maybe you’ll know who to ask for when you next come into our offices!Snow Shovel
Did you know there is a 'right' way to shovel Snow? It sounds amazing but it’s true… Bad technique when shoveling fallen snow in your yard or drive way can cause all kinds of back pain and damage. Here are some excellent guidelines for keeping yourself well enough to enjoy the festive season…Have you been hearing the term ‘Snow rails’
Have you been hearing the term ‘Snow rails’ used a lot but aren’t sure what they are? Well don’t worry! Snow Rails are simply another term for Snow Guards, which are a small device that essentially guards your property and loved ones from snow that could avalanche on top of them. They work by acting as a barrier to hinder snow as it slides off the roof, meaning that only small amounts fall off at a time and the rest stays behind the now rails until it melts in the sun.We love all things snow
So here at TRA-Mage we love all things snow, especially cool ways to stop it from damaging stuff! Here are some facts you may not have previously known to show off with…Fight the wear and tear caused by the elements
Here at TRA-MAGE we are wondering when the snow is finally going to dump on us. As sad as we are about the lack of snowball fights, snowmen and general snow related mischief, we are happy that this gives everyone more time to get their roofs prepared for winter. There are lots of ways to help fight the wear and tear caused by the elements and we find that using snow clips is a great option.
Snow Guard for Standing Seam Metal Roofs
Having trouble attaching your snow retention to your standing seam metal roof?Update Torque Requirements
T.R.A.-MAGE would like to clarify the information regarding the torque requirement for the T.R.A.-MAGE Clamp-on Snow Fence. Until recently, the torque requirement for the bolts used to secure the clamp to the standing seam has been 20 ft lb. It was determined, through physical testing, that this amount of torque, when applied to the bolts, was sufficient to secure the clamp to the seam and would prevent failure of the snow fence system.TRA-MAGE was on the News!
